Okay, okay... ( Nederlandse versie ) this fabric may not fit this time of year, but the color certainly does! I am excited about it. The fabric is similar to tweed but then slightly lighter, I has been lying around for a while and I actually took it out of my stash to make a bag out of it (and I will definitely do that, for my next  BERNINA Blog ). It was on the cutting table at the same time as the polkadot fabric which I made into lovely summer top (check this blog) and that inspired me to the combination. The sturdiness of the fabric makes a nice silhouette. It keeps tight where it may be tight and is therefore slimming. In addition, no unevenness can be detected. Looking for a pattern that has a higher waist, I came across the pattern from Knipmode with a vintage look, very classic. Love it! Oké, oke.... (English version) deze stof past misschien niet helemaal bij de tijd van het jaar, maar de kleur zeker wel! Ik wordt er heel blij van. De stof, lijkt op tweed maar dan iets luchtiger, heb ik al tijden liggen en nu pakte ik het er eigenlijk bij om er een tasje van te maken (en dat ga ik zeker nog doen, voor mijn volgende BERNINA Blog ). Het lag op de kniptafel tegelijk met het polkadot stofje waar ik een lieflijk zomers topje van maakte (lees het in deze Blog ) en dat inspireerde me tot de combinatie. De stevigheid van de stof zorgt juist voor een mooi silhouet. Het houd strak waar het strak mag zijn en kleed daarom goed af. Bovendien zijn er geen oneffenheden te bespeuren. Op zoek naar een patroon die een hogere taille heeft, zo zag ik het voor me. En ik stuitte op het patroon uit Knipmode met een vintage look, heel klassiek. Love it!
