Turn a unloved suit into something new  (#therefashioners2017)  Nederlandse versie That's the challenge I encountered on Instagram and it's right up my alley: Making an existing outfit into something new or partly reusing it IS SÓ MUCH FUN. #loveit I did not have a suit that I wanted to remake, so the first part of this challenge started. Shopping! Looking for that unloved suit to be dramatically remade. At my third(!) trip to the second hand shop I choose the only suit that was available as a whole set. In fact, it was still very beautiful and it looked exactly like a suit that my love once had...?  Coincidence! The fabric does not have a very exciting print, but luckily it's oversized so there is enough fabric to spice it up. Tover een afgedankt pak om in iets nieuws (#therefashioners2017) Engelse versie Dat is de uitdaging die ik op Instagram tegenkwam en helemaal in mijn straatje past. Van een bestaande outfit iets nieuws maken of deels hergebruiken is ZÓ LEUK om te doen. #loveit. Zelf had ik geen pak dat ik om wilde toveren dus begon het eerste deel van deze uitdaging. Shoppen!  Op zoek naar dat 'afzichtelijke' pak waar veel eer aan te behalen zou zijn, het liefst veel te groot zodat ik genoeg stof zou hebben. Bij mijn derde(!) tripje naar de kringloop koos ik voor het enige pak dat als echte set aanwezig was. Eigenlijk was hij nog heel mooi en was dit niet een pak dat mijn partner ooit had...? Toevallig!  De stof is niet heel spannend qua motief, maar gelukkig het pak wel groot genoeg. De inspiratie voor het 'toveren' mocht komen.
